Teal and Black Zentangle Art
Sometimes using a stencil helps me to kick start a drawing. I used this color of Tim Holtz Distress ink. (one of my favs!) I also love Tim Holtz's Small Talk stickers. I think it adds a little extra touch to a drawing, like in the one above. There was an itty bitty horizontal space that needed something. The Small Talk stickers fit perfectly! You get a bunch in a pack, and it's a pretty good price here on Amazon.
I really like this piece - it might be my favourite so far of all I've seen of yours.
ReplyDeleteI love the way you break the tangling around the stencilled colour. Which ties in with the broken colour itself.
I love that massive Henna Drum, and that you've shaded, on the colour blocks as well - pulls it all together.

It's funny I was just telling my husband that this drawing has been very well received and it's one that I have let sit on my camera roll for a month or so. I always tend not to like the ones that others do? So...what does that say about me? LOL ....and thank u so much for the comment!!!
